I had Mr. Dami Oluyole as a student when he was studying at the University of Nebraska, Omaha. The course was race relations in which he learned the structure of race relations in the United States. As a member of my class, he was very impressive in his analytical thinking and the articulation of his thoughts. He understood the roles of social structures in human realities, and he learned invaluable knowledge that will guide his judgement in his legal career, and especially, at the bench.

I just wanted to take the time to thank you for all you have done for Shaun. I appreciate the fact that you truly care about helping the youth. Thank you for advocating for me as well. I feel things would have been worse for me if you didn’t speak up in my behalf. I couldn’t be happier with how things played out. Shaun is graduating in May 23rd at the Baxter Arena. He will be starting college in June, studying automotive and real estate. He’s still working at McDonalds, just got his driver’s license, through drivers ed program, and works out at Planet Fitness on his free time. Words can’t express my gratitude.
